LONDON, Jan 19 (Reuters) – British lenders surveyed in late November and early December predicted a further expansion of mortgage lending in the three months to the end of February , according to a study by the Bank of England released on Thursday.
The BoE’s quarterly Survey of Credit Conditions also showed that lenders with mortgages, consumer credit Corporate receivables and payables decrease in the December-February period, and for the increase in loan defaults.
The BoE conducted the survey between November 21 and December 9.
