The lawyer for the woman accused of hit and run said that her client had no idea that she had hit anyone.

ROSS TOWNSHIP, Pa. — The attorney for the woman charged in a fatal crash that killed a woman in Ross Township said she was not known. the person does not take care of his companion before leaving the scene of the accident.

Steve Townsend represents 39-year-old Erin Petroski, who is charged with vehicular manslaughter and driving under the influence after police say she hit and killed 31-year-old Elizabeth Griser on Babcock Boulevard on January 13.

“He is very upset that this has happened. It really is a disaster,” Townsend said.
