MOBILE, Ala. (nothing) – Nineteen-year-old Xavier Dixon is the man accused of murdering 63-year-old Martyn Hands in front of the 61Ninety flats in Girby Road. Dixon turned himself in after the shooting Tuesday morning. Investigators say Five died at the hospital after he was shot multiple times while sitting in his truck.
Police say Dixon and Lima don’t seem to know each other and that this all started because of an argument over cars, but it’s not clear what happened. they argued. Dixon’s attorney, Donald Briskman, said things escalated when he followed his client.
“He was followed for miles by the deceased in this case,” Briskman said. The man just followed her through the doors of her apartment and he gave a clear threat and she was worried.
It is not clear how Dixon was threatened. Meanwhile, District Attorney Keith Blackwood says Dixon has already pleaded guilty to being arrested last year for disorderly conduct and not having a firearms permit in the when this accident happened. Blackwood said they have already filed to have his bond revoked on the charges.
This coming Thursday, Dixon’s court hearing has been rescheduled for last Thursday, where Blackwood said they will request the detention of without obligation.
