Quality Program, SiriusPoint partners in the environmental insurance program



National insurance program manager Distinguished Programs has announced a new partnership with SiriusPoint to expand into environmental, building damage and professional insurance.

As part of the multi-year agreement, SiriusPoint’s environment team, led by Doug Stepenosky, will move to Distinguished Programs, with Stepenosky named president of Distinguished’s environment program.

Businesses will continue to be written on SiriusPoint paper. Handling claims on the current book and new business will continue to be handled by the environmental claims team, said the company.

In addition to Stepenosky, the environmental group consists of twenty-two professionals with a wide range of environmental and insurance. The program will be integrated with Distinguished’s existing insurance policies and umbrellas for real estatefine art and collections, community organizations, hotels and restaurants.

Stepenosky and his team are the newest additions to Special Programs. In October, the company appointed Beth Fulton and Linda Picha to be regional sales.
