NFP names the leader in professional liability practice

The NFP has announced the appointment of John Ferreira (pictured above) as senior vice president and professional liability practice leader within its management, internet and professional liability division.

In his new role, Ferreira will work with clients to develop insurance and disaster risk solutions to protect against financial and reputational issues. He will report to Matthew Schott, managing director and head of the management, cyber and professional liability practice.

“We are excited to welcome John to the team at NFP,” said Schott. “It is important for a comprehensive risk management plan to protect the balance of the company as well as the assets of our customers in various businesses. This is where John excels, in satisfying clients with solutions that exceed expectations. His experience and background in developing professional liability insurance solutions make him the perfect fit to lead our professional liability division.”

Ferreira has over 30 years of business experience. He joins NFP from Chamber Insurance Agency Services, where he most recently served as executive vice president. Prior to the Chamber, he served as a senior vice president at Jamison Insurance Group.

“I am happy to join NFP with the most talented management, online and professional liability team,” said Ferreira. “NFP continues to grow, and I am honored to work with experts to provide the information that companies and their management need to better manage the various risks associated with their leadership roles. .”

Ferreira is the new head of the NFP. Last month, the company appointed Andrew Canning as the head of the risk management process. In November, veteran company Mike James was promoted to the chief sales officer.
