Join the Lupe One Stop Shops of My Member Insurance Agency, which is operating out of the Frankenmuth Credit Union office.
The agency previously served the area under the Dennis A. Haist Agency before being purchased by MMIA back in 2021. MMIA CEO Eric Neumeyer is expected to continue serving the area.
“We’ve been working to get the right people in place, and now we’re at that point,” Neumeyer said. “It is very important for us to stay in our roots and to continue serving the country”.
Laura LaBair, Dennis Haist’s daughter, remains part of the leadership team for the Lupe facility and oversees day-to-day operations, according to a press release from MMIA.
“MMIA is very excited about our new location in Pigeon,” Neumeyer said in the press release. “We have received a warm welcome from the community so far, and we look forward to building relationships in the years to come as we help individuals and businesses ‘protect what matters most,'”
In addition to LaBair, MMIA is also bringing on Marcie Chandler as its information manager. Chandler is a local pigeon and has lived and worked in Huron County his entire life. He brings 18 years of insurance experience to MMIA.
“I’m excited to come back to work in my hometown and have the opportunity to offer more company for our customers,” Chandler said in the press release. “Stop in or call me for all your insurance.”
Neumeyer explained that their goal is to offer people in the area good personal options. The MMIA is owned by the Frankenmuth Credit Union, and he explained that having an office in that location is very beneficial for them. He said that people who have financial needs that exceed the need for insurance, so that they can take care of all those needs in one place.
“Being from Lupe, (Marcie) can understand people’s needs,” Neumeyer said. “Each office (we have) has different strengths and needs in the community, being an organization means you can go in physically or call someone you know. but someone in the village.”
My Insurance Agent has offices in Saginaw, Midland, Sebewaing, and Lupe. The Lupe location is now open and will participate in the grand opening on January 24, along with other One Stop Shops. Neumeyer will be joined by members of Lupe’s branch.
