Kean Miller’s lawyer has been honored, LMOGA has named the 2023 seat

Kelicia Rayaan attorney in the New Orleans office of Kean Miller, has been named to the annual Hot Lawyers List.

The list features attorneys in early to mid-career careers specializing in the legal profession. Raya is featured in the Organization Hot List 2022 Issue available online at lawyerofcolor.org.

Raya focuses its practice on energy and the environment.

Rock Name, of WBRZ, recognized by Broadcast and Cable as one of the top managers in television.

Daboval, who retired this month after nearly 18 years as CEO of Baton Rouge ABC, was named CEO of the year for small television markets.

Broadcast and Cable said the honor is a lifetime achievement award for Daboval. He has been with WBRZ for over 40 years.

David Mullens will be the 2023 chairman for the Baton Rouge Area Chamber.

Mullens is the president of marketing and division manager for North & Southwest Louisiana and Arkansas at Capital One.

Mullens has served the Baton Rouge community on numerous boards and committees, including Rotary, Boys & Girls Club of Metro Louisiana and Mid City Redevelopment Alliance.

He succeeds Helena Cunningham, CEO of National Housing Consulting Services, who was chair of the BRAC board in 2022.

candy wright, of Postlethwaite & Netterville, was again selected as one of the Top 100 Most Influential People in Accounting by Accounting Today.

According to Accounting Today Wright “is the voice of the private sector in setting accounting standards.”

Wright is a P&N director and service line leader for the financial services and assurance division. He has been with the company since 1985 and became a director in 1994.

Joel Noyes 2023 board seats have been elected for the Louisiana Mid-Continent Oil and Gas Association.

Noyes is senior manager, government and external affairs for Hess Corp. He succeeds Selby Bush, formerly of Woodside Energy, as chairman of the association in 2022.
