1. Stick to a schedule. Having a personal schedule, that clearly draws out family time, and sticking to it will help to make your family a priority. How much time you can spend will depend on your family, but even just an hour makes a significant impact on your children. They want time with their parents and since they will not be children forever take some time away from the deadlines, phone calls and emails to enjoy these precious years.

3. Enjoy a meal together. These days, many families are extremely busy with active kids who participate in at least one sport or type of lesson. But even with a busy life, it is important to have at least once a day when everyone can sit together as a family. Meal time is generally a good time to do this. It does not have to be fancy, but it should be uninterrupted from your work at home mom duties.

4. Family fun night once a week. Not only is it a good idea, but it is fun to dedicate an entire night to family fun. You can go to the park, play a game, or even just watch a show. It does not have to be over the top. Even the simplest moments are looked at

5. Time for adults. Parents can often forget to make themselves a priority. Work at home moms can get caught up with running a business and caring for children that they forget to take time out to be alone with their partners. But this is avoidable. Have a date night once a week. This does not always entail going to an expensive restaurant. It can be as simple as putting in a movie and popping popcorn.

6. Connect with other work at home moms. Even with the kids at home, working by yourself can be a little lonely. Sometimes others in your family cannot relate with the stresses you face.
