However, keep in mind that the waves here have claimed lives, so you might want to think about surfing the big waves here first as it even brought one of the best big wave surfers, Laird Hamilton, close to tears after a fantastic ride.
In South Africa, you will find Dungeons, Hout Bay. Here, you will be able to experience surfing extreme waves that can be very dangerous. Surfers will need to use jet skis and charter boats in order to reach the surfing destination.
Belharra, France is another fantastic spot for big wave surfers. Located 2 kilometers outside Saint Jean de Luz in the French Basque region, you will see that this wave can be very dangerous. Surfing here is for expert surfers only.
